Work with Sales in Brixit CRM
The Sales menu has five areas. Choose the one that matches the work in front of you.
| Area | Use it for | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts | A person’s details, owner, relationship stage and activity history | Add and manage contacts |
| Inquiries | A specific property requirement and its progress through a pipeline | Create and manage inquiries |
| Contact Pool | Contacts released by the team or rotation rules for another agent to claim | Release and claim contacts |
| Database | Import prospect lists, work a call queue and convert qualified records | Import and work a database |
| Brixit Forms | Hosted forms that capture prospects using an assignment strategy | Build and share a form |
Choose a starting point
For a person you already know, add a Contact. Create an Inquiry when you have a specific requirement to track. One contact can have several inquiries over time.
For an imported prospect list, begin in Database. Record call outcomes and callbacks, then convert suitable records into contacts or listings. For inbound requests, use Brixit Forms and the connected lead channels in Integrations.
For a contact without a working owner, use the Contact Pool. Claiming transfers the contact and related inquiries together, so check existing history before contacting them.
Keep the next action visible
Use the contact’s Overview or the listing’s Followup tab to record notes, schedule a call or viewing, and complete the activity with its outcome. From an inquiry, open its linked contact. The follow-up guide explains each entry point. Store supporting files in Documents. Use Shares to send a property shortlist.
Configure how Sales works
Administrators maintain pipelines, sources and contact stages, assignment strategies and lead rotation, and automated workflows. These settings affect which options agents see and who receives incoming work.
Move a completed opportunity into Finance
Record deal amounts, commission splits and payments under Finance → Transactions. The Transactions and commissions guide covers that separate module. Changing an inquiry stage does not itself record a commission payment.
Common questions
What is the difference between Sales and Transactions?
Sales contains Contacts, Inquiries, Contact Pool, Database and Brixit Forms. Finance → Transactions records deals, commissions and payments. Updating an inquiry stage does not record a commission payment.
Should I start with a Contact or Database?
Create a Contact for a known person you want to manage in the CRM. Use Database to import a prospect list, work through calls and convert suitable records into contacts or listings.
